Welcome to our website.
Our kennel name 'Griseus' comes from the Medieval Latin word meaning Grey.
Breeders of Weimaraners, we are located in Sydney. We are not a business, rather a hobby.
I was introduced to these wonderful “grey ghosts” by a neighbour back in 1997; I knew then, I wanted to be part of their history and future.
We started to fulfill this passion in 2007 with our first Weimaraner, Oska. He was purchased as family pet, one was not enough and so our journey commences...
Our foundation bitch for Griseus Weimaraners is, “Maddison” Aust SUPREME Ch. Carnmellis Jovita Ashlaren (Imp NZ) joined us in July 2009 from Ashlaren Weimaraners and Carnmellis Kennels in NZ.
As our first show dog, we have been quite successful in the show ring, and enjoying it immensely.
Maddison has magnificent reach and drive, and is an eye catcher as she moves around the ring. Maddison is our future.
We are registered breeders, both Michael and David are members of Dogs NSW, Weimaraner Club of NSW, and founding members of Pointing Gundog Club of NSW, which David is also the Treasurer.
We are actively involved within the dog industry & communities.
